All Certified NeuroTransformational Coaches have first completed a recognized coach training program* before completing all four modules of BEabove Leadership’s Neuroscience, Consciousness and Transformational Coaching, a total of over 81 classroom hours (in addition to their core coach training). Upon completion of these modules, our certified coaches have then completed a rigorous Certification Program, which includes additional reading, review, coaching supervision and feedback. At the end of this program, they must pass a comprehensive written test (essay format) covering key neuroscience topics, as well as a one-to-one interview and coaching proficiency test. We’re very proud to recommend all our CNTCs as transformational coaches and experts in the neuroscience of human development. *in some rare cases, they may instead be trained as therapists — see individual information for more detail.
Alicia's passion is helping leaders at all levels improve their performance and fulfillment through deepening self-awareness, understanding impact and defining concrete actions. In addition to her private practice, she serves as an executive coach on the bench of AIIR Consulting and conducts group coaching and mentoring circle programs.
Alicia came to coaching after a 30-year career as a leader and executive in the electric utility and cable telecommunications industries. Over that time, she led a variety of functions including Customer Experience, Program Management and Field Operations. In any role she held, her passion was always supporting leaders in their own development to help them become the best versions of themselves. She had her first opportunity to work with an executive coach over 20 years ago and decided at that time that she would eventually pursue coaching as a career.
Alicia is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Co-Active Training Institute and a Certified NeuroTransformationl Coach (CNTC) through BeAbove Leadership.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Villanova University. She completed the Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School, the Comcast Women in Leadership Program at Wharton and the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, the flagship executive program of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). In recognition of her ability to bring people together to solve business issues and improve organizational culture, Alicia was honored with the Touchstones of Leadership Connect Award by the WICT DC/Baltimore Chapter.
Alicia has served as vice-chair of the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia and as a member of the steering committee for Women United, the women’s initiative of United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She performs pro bono coaching through AIIR Consulting’s Elevate Project, the AmeriCorps VISTA program and The Coaching Fellowship and currently serves as Secretary of the Board of the ICF Philadelphia Charter Chapter.
